On June 19, 2024, EFES Kazakhstan and the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Kazakhstan signed a Memorandum of Understanding for the project “Save the Berkuts!”, aimed at preserving and restoring the population of these birds, listed in the Red Book and considered one of Kazakhstan’s national symbols.
The project continues the initiative “Contribute. Preserve Nature” (2012–2019), during which 25 berkuts were bred and released into the wild in Almaty region, helping to increase their numbers.
Our goal is to restore the berkut population and raise public awareness about the importance of environmental responsibility.
